Management System
We are developing and operating a talent management system to understand our Group’s human resources and achieve optimal placement and development.
Visualization of Human Resources Portfolios and Necessary Human Resources
At the four EPC-related companies, we believe that three transformations (TX)—in business domains, business models, and organizations—are necessary to realize the vision set forth in the “2040 Vision.” To drive these transformations, we have identified the human resources needed for the future and classified them into four types. By regularly monitoring this and comparing it with the current portfolio, we use it as a foundation for investigating and implementing measures to close the gap in terms of quantity and quality.
Four EPC-Related Companies:
Refers to the four companies that are responsible for or related to the core Total Engineering Business of our Group (JGC Holdings Corporation, JGC Corporation, JGC Japan Corporation, and JGC Corporate Solutions Co., Ltd.). These companies were previously a single entity (the former JGC Corporation) before transitioning to a holding company structure, and since some initiatives are limited to these four companies, this term is used for convenience.
Creation of optimal human resources allocation system (talent management)
We are considering the introduction of a system that allows monitoring and reviewing of deficiencies relative to the envisioned portfolio, by harnessing the leading digital technology used throughout HR to visualize and clarify human resources, and creating a framework that facilitates optimal personnel allocation planning for diverse business areas and business models.
