Super Fine (SF) Filter System
Filtering Process for Radioactive Liquids
JGC provides the SF Filter System to separate radioactive suspended solid (crud) contained in radioactive liquids from nuclear power stations or other types of suspended matter found in nuclear facilities.
Process Flow
Features
- High separation rate: 99 % elimination of 0.1 µm particles
- No secondary wastes (no auxiliary filtering agent is used), washing is done by air
- Large capacity plant with small installation area
- Easy scaling-up: Capacity determined only by module numbers (membrane area: 7.5 m2/module)
- High chemical resistance: pH range: 1 - 14
- High radiation resistance: 106 Gy
- High temperature resistance: up to 75 ℃
Applications
- Nuclear Power Reactor (BWR, PWR)
- Equipment drain, floor drain, spent fuel storage pool
