The Kumagaya General Hospital is a regional referral hospital that covers the area around northern Saitama Prefecture, including Kumagaya City. This project aims to respond to the local need for the reestablishment of a general hospital capable of handling everything locally by offering the latest medical care.
At the PET (Positron Emission Tomography) Medical Checkup Center with a focus on preventive medicine, the latest equipment has been deployed, including a PET-CT and equipment for TomoTherapy, allowing it to provide a variety of checkup services for examining the brain, the heart, cancers, etc. Moreover, the new recovery and rehabilitation ward will aim to provide more comprehensive functions to support the returning home of the elderly and promote their return to society.
In this project, JGC took part in everything from planning to engineering and construction, contributing to the realization of a hospital facility with a comprehensive range of the latest equipment and functions by making use of the company's skills in project management and hospital engineering.
