This project is a methionine production facility expansion project planned by Sumitomo Chemical to meet growing demand for methionine as a feed additive for chickens. JGC was awarded the contract for the engineering, procurement and construction of the front-end facilities and successfully completed the project in 2018 using engineering technologies and project management capabilities developed through extensive experience in the construction of chemical plants.
