JGC Holdings Corporation is pleased to announce the establishment of JGC Corporate Solutions Co., Ltd. (JCS) on April 1, 2023, to consolidate corporate functions within the JGC Group and seek greater efficiency and specialization in these operations.

October 1, 2019, marked the Group's adoption of a holding company structure,when the former JGC Corporation was reorganized into JGC Holdings, overseas EPCoperating company JGC Corporation, and domestic EPC operating company JGC Japan

In administrative operations since then, JGC Holdings has managed group-wide strategic planning and promotion as well as corporate functions, while JGC Corporationand JGC Japan have managed their own strategic planning and corporate functions.Looking ahead, the three companies' corporate functions such as human resources,finance, legal/contracting, project insurance, corporate IT, and order management will beconsolidated at JCS as the framework is established for each company to focus onstrategic planning and promotion of the group as a whole or their own company.Corporate function operations consolidated at JCS will be both highly specialized andmore efficient, through standardization and digital transformation. In the future, we also
plan to consider consolidating the corporate function operations of the entire group intoJCS.

This further promotion of strategic planning, coupled with more efficient and highly specialized execution of corporate functions, represents another way the JGC Group ispursuing and supporting steady and prompt attainment of our long-term management vision and medium-term business plan (2040 Vision and BSP 2025) as well as higher corporate value.
