The year 2020 was a year in which we strongly felt again that we were in a highly uncertain era, with the rapid acceleration of social trends toward low carbon and decarbonization, and the spread of COVID-19 infections having a tremendous impact on all aspects of global society, industry, and lifestyles.

The year 2021 will mark the start of the long-term vision and the new medium-term management plan, with the aim of overcoming the current uncertain market environment and achieving sustainable growth.

As the world accelerates toward the realization of a sustainable society, the business areas in which we can contribute to realizing such a society will expand even further.
