Message from the President & COO of JGC HOLDINGS, Tadashi Ishizuka to new employees
On Becoming Members of a Ever-evolving Corporate Group
Congratulations on starting work in the JGC Group.
In order to prevent the spread of COVID-19, we have decided to take measures such as postponing some of the training sessions for new employees, which were scheduled to begin on April 1, or having them online instead. The following is a summary of my message for you, which I was planning to speak at a social gathering meeting.
For more than 90 years, the JGC Group has contributed in resolving a variety of social issues centered on the energy field, both in Japan and around the world. We are exploring new areas of business and pursuing innovation to further deepen our existing competencies in response to changes in social issues and values, particularly in SDGs. As a means of realizing these initiatives in a more reliable and timely manner, the JGC Group shifted to a new group management structure in October last year, and is also focusing on creating our vision for the next 10 to 20 years.
The JGC Group's greatest asset is its people, including new employees like you. I expect you to acquire our strengths in technologies and project management capabilities, and contribute to the realization of a corporate group that always seeks to innovate and transform itself.
