Owned by PETRONAS, the Malaysian state-owned oil company, the Bintulu LNG Complex is one of the largest LNG (liquefied natural gas) production centers in the world. Nine trains at the complex are in operation.
Starting from the 1980's, JGC has for over 30 years performed EPCC (engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning) work for the plant's existing nine trains, as well as rejuvenation and upgrading work to increase production capacity.

Based on PETRONAS' high evaluation of JGC's long track record of contributions, its detailed knowledge of the Bintulu LNG Complex, and overall high-level technological capabilities, JGC has earned the Malaysian company's trust and confidence.
